We’re in the top 10!!

Well done to everyone that raced this weekend old and new, up in Manchester, as you know I didn’t miss a single moto this weekend from behind the camera!! 🎥


You all were amazing, and lovely to see a few more Derby shirts hitting the National scene.


We’ve started the race season really strong with some of our new Primary riders Charlie and Roland earning us some great points, taking us into 8th so far in the National Club Rankings.


We’ve said goodbye to a few too as they move to new clubs, good luck Lotte Etmane and Roman in your new clubs. We’ll still be watching your progress and I’m sure we’ll still be seeing Lotte at the track, but we’ll miss your points… 😜

Midlands Race Series - ready to race...

Registration is now open for the Midlands Race Series, the first gate drops in Rotherham on Sunday 13th April.


If you have not raced a regional before, we have handy guides on how to register, what you need to get sorted ahead of the event and info on the day itself all available on our website.



You can register here, you will need British Cycling Membership to register


Get your race plates

Front Race and Side plates are required to race, plus a transponder for automatic scoring/timing. Riders usually use the last 3 digits of their Membership number to creat their first race number. This can change, epecially if you go onto race Nationals as you have to race your National ranking.

If you are planning to race the National Series too for the first time, please check your race plates meet the Tech Guide requirements.



Transponders

We have a small amount of transponders available to hire, ask Jo for details. The region admin team also have some transponders available to hire.

If you have your own transponder, check they are still working, have battery life and an active subscription before getting to the race.

If you want to purchase your own they are available here.


Gazebos

The club will have gazebos at all races, for all Derby riders to use. These gazebos don’t appear by magic, they are taken by our volunteers. If you have space in your vehicle to take one of our compact gazebos please let someone at the club know and add your name to the Gazebo Fairy rota.
